Such a busy day we've barely been able to take a break!!! We ran the Colombian Choco - Carmen de Atrata through the espresso machine this morning - one of our regular straight espresso drinkers remarked that he has never had an espresso with that much crema - so incredibly flavorful and balanced for a single origin... Heather took over bar between the two World Cup matches and shifted gears with the Costa Rican Rubies Tarrazu - a brighter & sweeter espresso!

It's been so nice seeing our humble little operation grow, seeing first timers taking the first sip that stops them in their tracks, shocked that they found a coffee house that has excellent coffee, roasted fresh up-close and personal, with genuinely nice customer service, and not some aloof hipster behind the counter who takes themselves entirely too seriously about the strangely ironic, obscure origin of coffee you've probably never heard of...

As far as the Tour de Lance, ..., er, France goes - the prologue was definitely cool to watch - we slipped it in between the two quarterfinal matches. It's nice to see that old men can still grind it out with the best of 'em. One of the Guinness Cycling Team members queried whether our place will be a Lance mania place of worship - I replied that we don't necessarily want Lance Armstrong to win this year's tour - we just want el pistolero to lose!

If anyone finds themselves up at the ungodly hours the stages are being shown live and asks themselves, "where can I watch every single solitary Tour de France stage live, even the 3:30AM ones? Well mi amigo, look no further - come on over to the dark side - first one through the door for each of the live stage showings gets a free drink! Please, for the love of God, make the crazy hours worth it for us and come hang out. I may just get a little crazy and hand out free shots at some random sprint - you never know...
